         毕业于南京林业大学,1983年林学学士,1995年植物学博士;1997-1998年赫尔辛基大学访问学者。

        教授,博士生导师。现任国家林业和草原局亚热带森林生物多样性保护重点实验室主任。曾任学校教务处长、森林资源与环境学院党委书记、生物与环境学院党委书记等职务。

        主持完成国家自然科学基金、国家科技支撑、生态环境部生物多样性保护专项等课题20余项。在植物生态学报、Plant Biotechnology Journal、Plant Journal等中外学术期刊上发表论文200余篇;获授权专利多项;主编出版《植物学》(本科)、《植物生物学专题》(研究生)教材。获国家科技进步二等奖2项,江苏省教学成果二等奖2项。

        学术兼职:现任中国林学会栎类分会副理事长、古树名木分会副主任委员、江苏省植物学会副理事长。曾任中国林学会树木学分会第八届主任委员、树木生理生化专业委员会副主任委员、中国野生植物保护协会常务理事。

        研究方向:①栎树遗传变异与种质资源收集利用;②亚热带森林植物多样性定位观测;③石榴、漆树等经济树种生物学特性与资源利用。
