陈炼，教授，博士生导师，江苏省“333工程”中青年学术技术带头人（第三层次）培养对象，江苏省动物学会理事。2009年6月获南京师范大学动物学博士学位。2016年至2017年赴美国亚利桑那大学生态学与进化生物学系访学。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目，江苏省自然科学基金、江苏高校自然科学基金等10余项课题。在Proceedings of the Royal Society B-Biological Sciences、International Journal of Biological Macromolecules、Genomics以及BMC Genomics等期刊发表论文40余篇。参与编写《中国履行〈生物多样性公约〉第五次国家报告》、《中国生物多样性本底评估报告》、《生物物种资源监测概论》专著5部，参与编写的《广西西南喀斯特生物多样性》被中国科学技术部评为2014年全国优秀科普作品。
